Fall-Inspired Disney Outfit + Two Instagram-Worthy Mickey Treats

Happy Tuesday friends! Today I’m sharing this fall-inspired look at Disney and two fall sweet treats that celebrate the fall season, even if the temperature doesn’t budge from 90 degrees.

Okay, I’ll say it how it is: if you see any Floridian in a fall-inspired outfit, they’re probably suffering from heat exhaustion and sweating profusely in whatever scarf/leggings/sweater they’re wearing. Traditionally hot drinks like pumpkin spice lattes are served on ice here, and wearing something like this outfit above is on par with medieval torture. BUT, sometimes I have to trick myself and pretend (and sweat, a lot) with a new outfit from Target because they have the cutest fall clothes and I can’t resist. There, I said it.

Target hasn’t let me down, and this outfit from the Wild Fable line certainly gives the “let’s pretend it’s 55 degrees outside” vibe, and this corduroy jumper is the perfect twist to the popular overalls right now (yes, I’m still obsessed). My top (on clearance now!) is a sheer woven bell-sleeve with a black star pattern, and it has a darling ruffle hem and an open crossback. I ordered an XL to keep it loose and longer since it is a high-waisted cut. Also from the Wild Fable collection is this rust corduroy jumper, and it’s the perfect fall color and the fabric isn’t too heavy- rejoice Floridians! It is pretty short, so I wore leggings (they’re better than my Spanx!) for a reason with this outfit; I’m not just a glutton for punishment! I am wearing the jumper in an XXL to keep the length as long as possible, and for those wondering I’m 5’8″.

Speaking of how hot it is in Florida, finding alternative fall sweets that work with the warm temperatures can be, well, interesting, and putting ice in my pumpkin spice latte just isn’t my thing. Luckily, Disney has two fall and Halloween-themed treats that nearly any Floridian could approve! Move over pumpkin spice latte, there are two new Mickey-shaped fall treats in town!

Candy Corn Milkshake

If you needed an overdose of sugar, the Candy Corn Milkshake is it! Released on August 17th as a seasonal treat, this Halloween-themed milkshake will be on the menu at Auntie Gravity’s in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom until October 31st. This electric orange treat tastes like a vanilla milkshake with a moderate flavor of candy corn- the flavor isn’t that overpowering! The milkshake is topped with yellow cotton candy and finished off with a big straw and a Mickey-shaped marshmallow attached to it. Truth be told, I could only handle about ten sips of this before I had to pass it off, but those ten sips were good.

Mickey-shaped seasonal krispy treat

Another seasonal treat that’s well-loved by the Weiss fam (read: Walter) is the Mickey-shaped Krispy treat on-a-stick, and the seasonal decorated Krispy treats are nothing less than spooky, and delicious! I mean, just look at Walter… those Mickey ears were gone before I could take a photo! Two of the Halloween-inspired treats on-a-stick are an orange sugar jack-o-lantern and a white chocolate mummy. They’re both adorable, and both have the seal of approval by Walter!

Fall treats- check! Fall outfit- check! Fall temperatures- meh, we’ll get there someday in Florida! What’s your favorite fall treat or recipe to celebrate the season? I’m always looking for something new, so let me know by leaving a comment!

As always, a huge thank you goes to Kristyne for taking these photos! You can see her lifestyle blog here.
