Getting back to the queen of embroidery, Lauren is so incredibly creative with all of her client’s custom projects! Her theming, font choices, color coordinating (read: everything) is what makes her the premier embroiderer in my eyes! This isn’t the first time she’s created something so sweet and special for Eloise- she custom-designed and embroidered Eloise’s first birthday dress last year! You can see it here. So when Lauren posted a sneak peek of a similar jumper several weeks back, I knew I, I mean Eloise, needed it.
I’d be shocked if there’s another child on this earth that loves Peppa Pig more than Eloise. Yes, shocked. We have all of the books, every single episode on DVD and on iTunes, every talking Peppa plush made, pajamas, slippers, socks…. Eloise is kind of a big fan. The one thing she didn’t have was a Peppa dress and I couldn’t find one that I actually liked until I had seen one custom-embroidered by ElliFox, and when I saw it on ElliFox’s Instagram stories I lost all control and I think I threw my credit card at my phone. It was all a blur, but when I came to I had a confirmation from Lauren saying that Eloise would be getting this Beaufort Bonnet Company pink corduroy jumper with a Peppa Pig theme.
Last week Eloise’s jumper arrived in the mail from ElliFox, and I don’t think I’ve ever ripped open a package faster! It was beautiful, perfectly folded, and when Eloise saw it she vibrated. She shrieked, grabbed it and paraded it around the house saying, “Peppa dress, MINE!!!” Mission accomplished, Lauren! There is a little girl in Orlando that is not-so low-key obsessed with this Peppa jumper, and wants to wear it every. single. day.
This morning we took photos at Leu Gardens here in Orlando and Eloise was showing everyone, including the gardeners, her new jumper. She was all smiles, except when she saw a bug and when she was told she couldn’t play in the fountain with her beloved dress on. Don’t believe me? Here are Exhibit A and Exhibit B:
